Debriefing of the 2017 press conference
It's done ! The press conference of the WTA Strasbourg took place at 12:00 PM at the Haras de Strasbourg with the presence of all the journalists and partners of the tournament.
First of all, the most important thing that you are waiting for: the player list!
This year, and even more, the tournament will be extremely high with 12 players from the TOP 50 (target 2017 set at 10).
A former world No. 1 WTA singles player (Caroline Wozniacki, current No. 11), a former No. 1 WTA world double (Roberta Vinci) and top 10 singles. A rare thing, an Olympic champion will also be part, and in addition, it is the 2014 winner of the WTA Strasbourg, Monica Puig. Caroline Garcia and Pauline Parmentier, very popular tricolor players will also be present in the final table.
Other known player and especially for the specialist: Carla Suarez-Navarro. To finish this brief explanation of the final table and a wink, Mirjana Lucic-Baroni, finalist 2017 AND in 1997 (!), will be the 2nd seed.

Secondly, we are very proud of the presence of two renowned chefs: Marc Haeberlin, chef *** at the Auberge de l'Ill and François Baur, chef of the Brasserie les Haras in Strasbourg, will realise (in collaboration with Effervescence) the VIP menus of the "Club des Loges" on Saturday 27 May (for M.Haeberlin) and Wednesday 24 May (for F.Baur).
