AMAZING FINALS

The IS18 finished as they began: with the sun, a great audience and very high level.

On the doubles side,  the Romanian: M. Buzarnescu and R. Olaru won the match in two sets against the duo composed by the Ukrainian N. Kichenok and the Australian A. Rodionova: 7-5 / 7-5 . An intense match, which was far from being won in advance, the two duets fought to the end to hope to win the final doubles.

On the other side, we were able to attend a STRASOSPHERIC final from our two singles finalists: A. Pavlyuchenkova and D. Cibulkova. Everyone was expecting a big match between the No. 3 seed and No. 5, but this final exceeded all expectations and records, with a match of 3:35, 3 sets and 3 tie-break. Final result: 6 (5) / 7-7 / 6 (3) -7/6 (6).

The 2018 WTA Strasbourg team wanted to thank, once again, all the partners, the volunteers, the ball collectors, the referees, the WTA, but also all the spectators who came so many to support the the best players in the world. Without you all this event could not have taken place. So thanks a lot.
