The WTA of Strasbourg press conference just finished. It was held at the Biocloster des Haras, Strasbourg, France, this Thursday April, 12nd 2018 with all our partners and local, regional and national press. Here is the summary for those who could'nt be there.
THE PLAYERS BOARD
We all waited this announcement : the 2018 final players board.
And the last we can say is that this year will be exceptional with 11 players who are world TOP 50 !
The double winner of the WTA of Strasbourg, Samantha STOSUR, will be in Strasbourg; the Olympic Champion, Monica PUIG, also winner of the 2014 WTA of Strasbourg. But also Ashleigh BARTY, World 18th and winner of the 2017 double WTA of Strasbourg. Daria GAVRILOVA, 2017 WTA of Strasbourg finalist join this wonderful board, followed by Alizé CORNET, the French player who come back another time in Strasbourg.
But it's not over, you will also find : Camila GIORGI (Italian n°1), Danielle COLLINS (Miami Open semi-finalist) or Timea BABOS, World n°39 who is as strong in simple as in double.
GASTRONOMY
The gastronomic chefs Marc Haeberlin, 3* Michelin restaurant for 51 years with the Auberge de l'Ill, and François Baur, Brasserie Les Haras (Strasbourg) chef, will sign the VIP Menu "Club des Loges" (Saturday 26th and Wenesday May 23rd). These VIP menus will be signed in collaboration with the official tournament caterer : Effervescence

animations
This years again, many animations are waiting for you during the tournament but also before it : with two animations the Saturday May 5th (in Centre Roppenheim The Style Outlet, France) and Saturday May 12nd (in Strasbourg) from 10a.m to 5p.m.
